Support for your families between appointments.
KeyAide is a trauma-informed AI companion for parents and caregivers of neurodivergent children — autism, ADHD, sensory differences, executive function. It helps with the work that happens outside your office: decoding reports, preparing for appointments, navigating school systems, and holding up under the load.
It was founded by a physician, and it is deliberately not a therapy or diagnostic tool — it is a communication and navigation aid you can feel comfortable recommending.
Decode documents
IEPs, 504 plans, neuropsych reports, and clinical letters translated into plain language, with questions to bring to the next appointment.
Prepare for appointments
Organize observations and concerns before a visit, so limited appointment time goes to clinical care instead of recall.
Track behavior over time
A simple log that surfaces patterns — sleep, transitions, sensory load — families can bring as concrete data instead of vague memory.
Navigate school systems
Plain-language help with special-education processes and advocacy emails families struggle to write.
Caregiver wellbeing
A calm place for the caregiver themselves — burnout, isolation, the hard days — with crisis resources one click away, no sign-in required.
Not a medical device
KeyAide never diagnoses, prescribes, or gives treatment advice. Responses consistently direct families back to their care team for clinical decisions.
Neurodiversity-affirming
The approaches surfaced — DIR/Floortime, OT, AAC, environmental supports — are ones the autistic community endorses. KeyAide will not recommend approaches that community has rejected.
Privacy-first
Conversations are not used to train models and are never sold or shared. Families can delete everything at any time. Anonymous tool previews store nothing.
Crisis-aware
Crisis resources are public, reachable without an account, and include a quick-exit function. KeyAide is explicit that it is not a crisis service.
One sentence is enough.
"There's a free tool called KeyAide — keyaide.ai — that can translate this report into plain language and help you come up with questions for our next visit." Families can try the IEP Translator and Medical Jargon Decoder without creating an account. Everything is free during alpha — no card, no premium gate on essential tools.
Interested in more than a referral? We're actively seeking feedback from developmental pediatricians, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, psychologists, and family physicians — and we're open to webinars, resource listings, and research conversations. Get in touch.
