Your privacy is our priority. We provide our privacy policy in multiple formats to ensure transparency and accessibility for all users. For plain-language answers to the hard questions — what we store, who processes it, what we test — see our Transparency page.

How We Use Your Information
Service Delivery
Providing personalized AI assistance, maintaining your account, and delivering the core KeyAide experience.
Communication
Sending important updates, responding to support requests, and sharing relevant information about our service.
Improvement
Analyzing usage patterns to enhance features, fix issues, and develop new capabilities that better serve your needs.
Security
Protecting your account, preventing fraud, and maintaining the security and integrity of our platform.
Data Protection & Security
Encryption
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and encrypted at rest by our cloud provider (Google-managed keys)
Access Control
Access is limited to a small team and only when needed to operate or support the service
Your Rights
We support GDPR data rights: access, export, correction, and deletion
AI Processing & Service Providers
We never sell your data. To run KeyAide, your data is processed by a small set of service providers acting on our behalf:
• Google Cloud — hosts our database and file storage, serves the AI models that power conversations (Anthropic's Claude via Vertex AI, and Google models for image and audio generation), and powers in-app search
• Vercel — hosts the application and provides anonymous usage analytics
• Sentry — error monitoring so we can fix problems
• Resend / Gmail — sends sign-in links and service emails
• Google Analytics — aggregate site usage, only if you allow it in the cookie banner; no analytics cookies are set without your consent, and page identifiers are stripped before anything is sent
Your conversations are not used to train AI models. Our AI providers process conversations only to generate responses, under commercial terms that prohibit using your data for model training.
Children's Information
KeyAide accounts are for adults (18 and older). We do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to create an account, and we do not knowingly collect information directly from children.
As a caregiver, you may choose to share information about a child in your care — for example a first name, age, or diagnosis — so KeyAide can support you better. Please share only what is needed; first names or nicknames work fine. You can view and delete this information at any time from Profile → Memory, or delete your account to remove it entirely.
