Visual Supports

Create custom illustrated visual supports, tailored to your child.

What Is the Visual Supports Maker?

Visual supports — routine cards, schedule strips, first-then boards, timelines, and social stories — help neurodivergent kids understand what's happening and what comes next. KeyAide's Visual Supports Maker generates a custom, illustrated version of any of these in about 30 seconds, using your child's own routine and language, ready to print or pull up on a tablet.

Who Is This For?

Parents and caregivers of autistic and ADHD kids who use (or want to try) visual schedules, routine cards, or social stories at home, at school, or in transitions — without hunting for generic clip-art versions that don't quite fit.

Common Use Cases

  • A morning or bedtime routine card showing each step in order
  • A schedule strip for the day, with times for each activity
  • A first-then board for a specific hard transition (e.g. "screen time" then "dinner")
  • A timeline for a bigger day, like a doctor visit or a trip
  • A social story explaining a new or unfamiliar situation

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I edit the image after it's generated?
Not directly in KeyAide yet — if it's not quite right, adjust your steps or descriptions and generate again. Each generation is quick and free within your daily limit.
Where are my generated images saved?
Every image you generate is saved to your Library tab on this page, where you can view or delete it any time.
Is there a limit to how many I can generate?
Yes, a daily limit applies to keep the service free for everyone. If you hit it, you'll see a message and can try again the next day.
